October and November have been a bit of a blur…but a very nice blur…Three events in late October to announce the Simpson Series and then I’ve been busy arranging a 2025 Schedule throughout November. I must say golf has got quite expensive since I last put a schedule together so I would like to thank the Secretaries and Club Managers that are working with me so I can bring you all Professional, Good Value, Competitive events at fabulous venues.
Due to the rising green fees across the board in golf currently, I have decided to alter my approach slightly and split events into two categories, Drive & Dine events and Play Away events. This way, by taking away the food element at Play Away events, I can include some courses with lower green fees in the schedule for you, these courses may be outside the Top 100’s lists but are fabulous courses all the same. Golf courses such as Holyhead, Furness, Peterhead and Newburgh that will still provide you with a fabulous experience but without the over £100 price tag. Food will still be arranged for you at these golf clubs but settled individually.
Golfers will still always want to play bucket list courses through and I for one see their appeal, for that reason I have also included a lot of the Top 100s courses in my schedule. Where I can, I am including a one course meal in the price (Drive & Dine), although this is becoming increasingly difficult with my main aim being able to provide golfers with good value.
When I think of some of the quality golf courses in the schedule, courses like Western Gailes and Dundonald on the Ayrshire coast, Sherwood Forest, Elie, Little Aston, Silloth and Cruden Bay. Trust me, all of them are worthy of their status and their price tag and would provide you and your friends with an unforgettable experience.
I look forward to hosting you and your friends at a Simpson Series event in 2025.
